Lenticels on Birch
Lenticels on Cherry (Blue arrows). Notice the leaves have not formed yet and the flowers are blooming (Red Arrow). Its above 40 degrees F. Therefore the lenticels are exchanging gases.
The
red arrows point to the lenticels on this young red maple stem.
