Physics  - Physics is the science of measuring forces.  In other words.  Physics is the science of an attempt, of attempts, to understand and measure the forces, energy, that moves matter.  The important part here is that as trees get older, defects increase, because they can’t move.  The role of physics in arboriculture, also increase, because trees are big beams.  The trunk in a sense, in a sense is a central beam and the branches are secondary beams, in sense.  So think about physics.  Think about measuring forces.  Don’t be afraid of physics.  As trees get older we need to think more and more about physics for our trees because they are beams.  Think about this, please, think, think, think.
