Tree Organs  - A tree has 3 major organs-roots, stem, leaves.  Flowers are modified leaves.  An organ is a group of tissues that perform a specific function.  A tissue is an orderly group of similar cells.  Mycorrhizae are organs.  And so are reproductive parts also, from flowers to fruit.  Even though they are modified leaves, the changes are so great that they fit the definition of an organ.
