Natural Target Pruning Guidelines

Remove most of the branch by cutting from 1 to 2.  make cuts at 1 and 2 as close as possible.  Cut from A to B, but do not injure the branch collar.

Never put a cutting tool behind the branch bark ridge.  When removing a branch, speed the tool at the end of the cut to avoid splitting the branch.
